Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure
This page applies to Outlytic, its screeners, rankings, heatmaps, calculations, data displays, research tools, and related content.
1. No Investment Advice or Recommendation
Nothing on Outlytic is a recommendation, solicitation, endorsement, offer to buy or sell, or individualized instruction concerning any security, option, fund, index, strategy, transaction, or course of action. A ranking, score, signal, screen result, heatmap, statistical output, or highlighted symbol does not mean that an investment is suitable for any particular person.
Users must independently evaluate every decision and should consult appropriately licensed professionals regarding their own objectives, finances, risk tolerance, time horizon, taxes, and legal circumstances.
2. No Adviser, Broker, Fiduciary, or Client Relationship
Use of Outlytic does not create an investment adviser-client, broker-client, fiduciary, agency, partnership, employment, or other professional relationship. Unless established through a separate written agreement, Outlytic does not manage user assets, exercise discretionary authority, monitor accounts, or accept responsibility for user trades.
3. Screeners, Rankings, Models, and Approximations
Outlytic tools use formulas, assumptions, estimates, proxies, approximations, thresholds, historical observations, and automated processing. CANSLIM, Magic Formula, relative-strength, Reg SHO, volatility, options-flow, mode-price, heatmap, valuation, and other outputs may differ materially from other implementations or from the original authors' methods.
- Scores and ranks are relative to the selected universe and data available at the time.
- Missing values, corporate actions, symbol changes, survivorship effects, stale filings, and incomplete histories may distort results.
- Model assumptions can fail during unusual, illiquid, volatile, or rapidly changing markets.
- A high rank is not a prediction of profit, and a low rank is not a prediction of loss.
4. Market Data May Be Delayed, Incomplete, or Incorrect
Data may originate from third-party services and public sources, including market-data providers, exchanges, regulatory filings, and websites. Data may be delayed, cached, adjusted, unadjusted, incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, duplicated, or mapped to a proxy symbol. Outlytic does not guarantee that quotes, prices, volumes, returns, fundamentals, option statistics, filing data, exchange lists, or classifications are current or correct.
Users must verify material information with an authoritative source before relying on it or placing a trade.
5. Historical, Hypothetical, and Backtested Information
Historical returns, heatmaps, backtests, simulated results, hypothetical examples, model portfolios, and reconstructed rankings have inherent limitations. They may omit commissions, fees, taxes, slippage, spreads, liquidity constraints, assignment risk, financing costs, market impact, execution delay, and behavioral factors.
Past or hypothetical performance does not guarantee or reliably predict future results. Actual results may differ materially.
6. Options, Short Selling, Margin, and Leveraged Products
Options, short sales, margin, futures, leveraged products, inverse products, and complex strategies can create rapid and substantial losses. Certain positions may lose more than the initial amount committed.
Options may expire worthless and may involve volatility, liquidity, early-assignment, exercise, settlement, pin, gap, and counterparty risks. Short positions can have theoretically unlimited loss exposure. Leveraged and inverse products may behave differently over periods longer than their stated daily objective.
7. No Guarantee of Availability or Fitness
Outlytic is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no express or implied warranty is made regarding accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uptime, security, compatibility, or error-free operation.
Features may be changed, interrupted, restricted, removed, or discontinued without notice. Cached or stored results may remain visible after underlying conditions have changed.
8. User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for their decisions, orders, account settings, position sizing, risk controls, tax reporting, regulatory compliance, and verification of outputs. Users should not trade money they cannot afford to lose and should understand an instrument before trading it.
Security credentials, brokerage access, API keys, and account permissions should never be provided through an unsecured channel.
9. Third-Party Services and No Affiliation
References to third-party companies, exchanges, regulators, publications, strategies, trademarks, data sources, or websites are provided for identification or informational purposes. They do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation. Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and accuracy standards.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Outlytic and its owners, operators, contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; trading losses; lost data; business interruption; or other loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on Outlytic or third-party data.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply.
11. Changes to This Disclaimer
This disclaimer may be revised as the website, tools, data sources, laws, or business practices change. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated version to the extent permitted by law.
12. Legal Review
This document is a general website disclaimer and is not legal advice. It may not address every law, regulation, business model, jurisdiction, subscription arrangement, data-license obligation, or feature of the service. The operator should have qualified counsel review the final disclaimer, Terms of Use, privacy disclosures, and regulatory posture, especially before charging users, accepting trades, providing individualized outputs, or connecting brokerage accounts.
